ALAN KEITH CEIER

Alan Keith Ceier, 69, of Key West, Fla., passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, surrounded by family and friends in his home after battling lung cancer.

Alan, a professional weatherman, served with the Navy from 1960, retiring in 1988, and again with the Navy civil service from 1989 to 2004.

He is survived by his eight children, Scott and his wife Charlotte, Dawn, Kelly and her husband Paul, Jamie, Kay and her wife Judy; and three grandchildren, Kallie, Connor and Evan.

Alan made himself a part of Key West, with friends and family across the island, and helped us all weather the storms in our lives. At Alan's request there will be no service. Donations are welcome in his name to the cause of your choice.
